About AAA Dog Rescue
At AAA Dog Rescue, we are dedicated to adopting abandoned animals and giving them a second chance at life. Based in Kern County, with a second facility in Palmdale, we serve not only our local community but also parts of Los Angeles County. Our mission goes beyond rescuing dogs—we strive to help families keep their furry companions by offering support, training, and resources to overcome behavioral challenges. We believe that with the right guidance, every dog can integrate smoothly into a busy household, reducing the number of animals surrendered or abandoned.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, every donation you make is tax-deductible and directly supports our efforts. From providing nutritious food and medical care to organizing adoption events and fostering programs, we ensure that every dog receives the care and attention they deserve. Join us in making a difference—together, we can create a future where every abandoned animal has a loving home.
Learn More About Us
At AAA Dog Rescue, we’re more than just a rescue—we’re a lifeline for abandoned animals in Kern County. Our mission is to provide these animals with the care, training, and love they need to thrive and find their forever homes. But running a rescue takes more than dedication—it requires substantial resources to ensure every dog in our care receives the best possible chance at a new beginning.
Adoption Events
Connecting dogs with their forever families is our ultimate goal, and our adoption events are a vital part of this process. Held regularly throughout Kern County, these events provide the perfect opportunity for potential adopters to meet our dogs and learn more about our mission. From festive gatherings to community outreach days, our events help spread awareness and find loving homes for our rescues.
Your support makes all of this possible, and together, we can continue to give Kern County’s abandoned animals the second chance they deserve.
The Importance of Training
Training is at the heart of what we do. Before adoption, all of our dogs undergo basic training to prepare them for life in a home environment. This training helps address common behavior issues, such as leash pulling or separation anxiety, making the transition easier for both dogs and their new families.
We also offer ongoing support to foster families and adopters to ensure success, because training is a journey that strengthens the bond between people and their pets. Proper training can mean the difference between a dog staying in a home or being surrendered, and we’re here to make sure every match works.
The Cost of Care
Every donation helps cover the significant costs of running a rescue. Here’s a breakdown of where your support goes:
• Food & Nutrition:
We ensure all dogs have a nutritious diet tailored to their needs, including supplements for digestion, joint and muscle support, shiny coats, and overall health.
• Potty Pads & Vaccinations:
Potty pads keep our facilities clean and comfortable, while vaccines and preventative medications protect our dogs from disease.
• Medications:
From flea treatments to antibiotics, we provide necessary medications to keep our dogs healthy during their stay.
• Transportation Costs:
Moving dogs from shelters to foster homes, adoption events, or veterinary appointments requires reliable transportation, including fuel and maintenance.
• Laundry Supplies:
With 3-4 loads of laundry daily, we clean blankets, bedding, and toys to keep our dogs comfortable and our spaces hygienic.
• Cleaning & Office Supplies:
Cleaning products maintain a safe and sanitary environment, while office supplies support the administrative work behind adoptions and events.
